There's a special blooper reel that can be unlocked with a little bit of skill too. The game also features 25 cinematic sequences that capture the outcome of each mission and advance the storyline. Additionally, there are a variety of helpful pick-ups including a pair of Infrared goggles, a teleporter, the jetpack, and a gas mask. Remaining true to the series, Duke Nukem: Land of the Babes supplies you with a heavy arsenal of weaponry including the blaster, grenade launcher, a golden Desert Eagle, and the devastating RPG rocket. Duke can also swim through water, climb up ladders and walls, and explore the confines of zero gravity movement. This allows the player to focus on the more important aspects of the game such as rescuing babes and solving puzzles. In addition to optional auto aiming, Duke will automatically open doors and climb upon short ledges. Utilizing his time portal, Duke will traverse through alien landscapes, intricate sewer systems, warehouses, and the ever-popular strip clubs in which he frequents. Well shadow warrior had those and I don't think it is likely to still be on many individuals list of fps's to be playing ATM. I realize it is entirely possible that you were saying not that it had one, but that in some way the vehicles and game modes somehow made up for it. It's great to lose yourself in a little mindless carnage. You want an FPS with a good story-line play something other then unreal.
The unreal I & II games had a story of sorts but II was a terrible let down because of it's length. As far as writing goes the UT games are a drivel-fest. Well WTF! since when did UTever have any sort of writing, much less good writing. ".what happened to all the good writings in video games? at least Unreal has vehicles and many gameplay modes." I am hoping that DNF can put the guts back in the fps. It is all a giant market ploy to liscence their engine to the little guys, so there is alot of glitter but no guts. It makes you hope they bring another show stopper to an industry that is being flooded by pathetic coorporate pushed excuses for games. Games have evolved much since that point, but when you step back and look at the timeframe and see what they did then and you realize there track record. No Duke does not compare to modern games.

If I had to make a geuss I would say look for screens and previews in sept. Because nobody spends that much time and money on a project not to release it.
